Telecommunications Networks Lab (PST) along with its Laboratory of Integrated Telecommunications Systems performs works related to measurements and diagnostics of telecommunication systems and terminal devices. These works comprise of electrical measurements, signaling assessments and functional tests, per European standards and national requirements

Activities of the workshop also involve research and development works carried out for local government institutions as well as various Polish businesses. Accomplishments in this area include a few dozen papers pertaining to network measurements, modernization or design of new solutions.

We would like to mention the close cooperation with many businesses and telecom Companies, including network operators, in creating new telecommunications solutions and providing them with analysis services and development strategies.

Our employees are qualified and have extensive experience in performing telecommunication audits. Such audits can result in substantial savings in the area of telecom related costs of the audited Company.

Results of theoretical works are published in various Polish periodicals and are often also presented at local as well as international conferences. They also aid the professional career development of our employees.

Besides the theoretical and applied research, our employees are involved in all forms of teaching activities. Our workshop plays an important role in the post-diploma course "Digital Telecommunications", being responsible for both the content as well as organizational aspects of this course.
