Laboratory of Electromagnetic Compatibility (LKE) is a unit subordinate to the Faculty of Electronics of Wrocław University of Technology, which was established in 1988 in order to provide a facility for scientific research as well as research services for electrical, electronics and IT businesses in the Lower Silesia region.
As part of Wrocław University of Technology, one of the largest technical universities in Poland, with almost a 50-year tradition of EMC research, LKE recognizes its mission in popularizing EMC knowledge and helping Companies comply to the EMC requirements defined by EU directives.
LKE carries out its mission by organizing local and international EMC conferences and workshops, providing technical consulting services as well as performing EMC tests and measurements. The laboratory guarantees high quality of offered services, which is confirmed by the held certificates. It has a state-of-the-art and constantly modernized equipment base, being purchased from own funds as well as funds from the state and EU subsidies.
On 10 October 2007 LKE obtained the status of the Notified Body no. 1975, Directive 2004/108/WE.
